a Masters of Science in Communication and an interdisciplinary PhD program in Communication, Rhetoric and Digital Media in partnership with the Department of English. Essential Job Duties The Department of Communication at North Carolina State University (NC State) invites applications for part-time Lecturer positions. Multiple hires may be made from this posting, with most positions being part-time and requiring in-person instruction. The position(s) are one-semester or one-year, non-tenure-track appointments with the possibility of renewal. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in communication as well as coordinating, planning, preparing, delivering, and evaluating classroom instruction and related activities. Other duties may be negotiated with the department head. Other Responsibilities Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the organization and evolving priorities.
