Job Description

JCC anticipates potential part-time openings for the Communication discipline for the upcoming semesters (spring, fall, summer) on the Jamestown Campus. We are seeking candidates to teach the following courses: Introduction to Communication (online) Media Writing (in person or via Zoom, depending on applicant availability) Public Speaking (in person) Class times and course coverage needs will vary from semester to semester. This is a pool posting and applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as needed basis.
Required:
Master's degree in Communication or a closely related field (required) Experience with online instruction and learning management systems (for online courses) Professional experience in media writing or related fields (for Media Writing course)
Preferred:
College-level teaching experience preferred Pay is determined by a set salary matrix coinciding with the highest level of education obtained and the greater of either directly related experience or number of credit hours of teaching experience accumulated. Range is $860-$1153 per credit hour.
