Job Description

Description The Department of Mathematics and Technology at Flagler College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate courses in the Computer Information Systems (CIS) program. This position will be required to teach in person at the St. Augustine location.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering in-person instruction and demonstrations Supporting hands-on programming labs and projects Managing course materials and grading through Canvas Holding limited office hours to support student learning Maintaining high standards of academic integrity and engagement
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. Experience with object-oriented programming (C#, ASP.NET Core, and Visual Studio) and data science (Python and Excel). Ability to teach programming and web development. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively with all constituents.
Preferred:
Ph.D. and industry experience in software or web application development. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level. Familiarity with SQL Server, Entity Framework, Razor Pages, and MVC frameworks.
