Job Description

The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) invites applications for one lecturer in the area of Information Technology. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2023. Apply Now Apply for the CIT Networking Lecturer position The position will focus on teaching introductory computer and information technology courses and coordinating a number of Networking and Security courses. We are particularly interested in applicants who have industry or teaching experience in cybersecurity, and/or networking systems. The position requires teaching diverse undergraduate students, conducting a scholarship of teaching and learning, and service to the Department, School, and IUPUI campus. Qualifications include an M.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely-related discipline from an accredited institution of higher education; and the ability to translate theories and concepts into practical applications. Provide a CV, statement of teaching interests/philosophy with a summary of teaching evaluations (if any), and contact information for at least three references.
