The School of Applied Engineering Technology is pleased to invite applications for Adjunct Faculty in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, and Computer Information Systems disciplines. Major responsibilities of this position include college-level teaching of Cybersecurity, Computer Science, and Computer Information Systems lecture and laboratory courses in such content areas as cybersecurity, networking, computer administration concepts, programming, software engineering, computer architecture, and several other areas. The successful candidate will be qualified to teach several of the following classes. See Programs:

Be responsive to student questions and available for student support. Use appropriate technology to enhance learning. Assess learning outcomes and adapt curriculum to meet learning objectives. Demonstrate insight and encouragement in working with diverse student populations, especially students traditionally underrepresented in higher education. Provide appropriate academic advising to students to support timely degree completion. Be innovative in the presentation of lectures and hands-on learning activities that achieve learning outcomes. Provide timely feedback on students' assignments and exams throughout each semester; and, Be accountable to meet the needs of the Department and the College, including timely submission of grades and other required materials. Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college, university or foreign equivalency in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. OR Master's degree from a regionally accredited college, university or foreign equivalency in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. OR Industry recognized professional license or certification; with a minimum of 3 years of full-time employment in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. OR Doctorate from a regionally accredited college, university or foreign equivalency in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Background in teaching college level courses in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. Demonstrated connections with local industry in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) Familiar with some or all of the following software programs: Programming Languages - Java, C++ and Python Networking Network Security Additional Information:
Adjunct rate of pay for the 26/27 academic year is $1,527/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment. Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System. Application Instructions:
