Job Description

The Marywood University Department of Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science invites applications for part-time instructors in Physics, Organic Chemistry, and Mathematics (basic college math for non-majors, statistics, and pre-calculus). Candidates must be available to teach in person courses at the Marywood campus in Scranton, PA. We encourage candidates who have any of the following areas of expertise or competence to apply.
Required Qualifications:
M.S. in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics is required. Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate Physics, Organic Chemistry, and Mathematics courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics is preferred. Working knowledge of Learning Management systems (i.e., Brightspace D2L) is preferred. Undergraduate laboratory instruction experience is preferred for Physics and Chemistry laboratories.
Required Documents:

At least one of the references should be able to speak about the applicant's teaching ability for undergraduate students.
