COMPUTERSCIENCE FACULTY POSITION

TheDepartment of Mathematics and Computer Science at King's College, Wilkes-Barre, PAseeksan open-rank tenure-track or technical faculty in Computer Science, beginningin August 2027. For a tenured/tenure-track position, itis expectedthat a Ph. D. degree in Computer Science will be earned prior to the start date. For a technical position, it is expected thatan M.S. in Computer Science or a related field will be earned prior to thestart date, combined with at least 5 years of industryexperience. The successful candidate will teach a broad range of coursesin the Computer Science and Computer and InformationSystems degree programs. Normal teaching load is 12 hours persemester (Fall, Spring). Primaryinterest and commitment must be to qualityinstruction and to training andmentoring young computer scientists. Public scholarship or professional development plus active involvementin the College and Department are expected.
