Open Date Sep 17, 2026 Description The Holcombe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University is seeking applicants for multiple open-rank tenured/tenure-track (T/TT) faculty positions and open-rank non-tenure-track Lecturer positions as we continue to grow our internationally renowned programs in electrical and computer engineering. Exceptional candidates will be considered for endowed chair and named professorship positions. The Holcombe Department of ECE is one of the largest and most active departments at Clemson University, with more than 40 full-time faculty members, close to 600 undergraduates, and 150+ graduate students. Annual research expenditures exceed $13 million. The ECE department offers ABET-accredited B.S. programs in electrical engineering and computer engineering, along with M.S. and Ph.D. programs in both disciplines. Qualifications Applicants for open rank Tenured and Tenure Track faculty positions must have earned a doctorate in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related field. Applicants for non-tenure track Lecturer positions must have earned a master's degree (doctorate preferred) in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related field.
