ABOUT THE POSITON

The teaching assignment may be at the Liberal Arts campus, the Trade, Tech and Community Learning campus or other college teaching locations. The assignment may be day, evening, weekend, online or off campus and is subject to change as needed. Part-time faculty positions are as needed positions and do not accrue rights to tenure. Part-time faculty positions offer flexible hours and the opportunity to assist a diverse group of adult students in achieving their educational goals. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master's in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling; OR , (

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Community college counseling experience. Evidence of previous teaching experience, especially at the community college level. Evidence of an ability to develop a comprehensive student education plan leading to the completion of an education goal. Evidence of an ability to work with students in transfer and completion goal attainment. Evidence of an ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of academic skills. Evidence of an ability to conduct various academic, career and job-related workshops and presentations.
