About The Position:
The Accessibility, Instruction, and Media (AIM) Specialist of our newly formed Center for Instruction and Program Innovation (IPI) will support its mission by ensuring that digital instructional materials meet ADA Title II accessibility requirements, by providing instructional design consultation and support, and by developing high-quality digital media for online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced courses. This position will strengthen campus-wide compliance efforts, improve the quality of online learning, and expand faculty capacity for accessible, innovative teaching.
Working within IPI offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful academic initiatives that support faculty success and student learning. Team members engage with evolving instructional technologies, inclusive teaching strategies, and innovative program development, helping to shape how education is delivered in a dynamic higher education environment.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated experience in digital accessibility (WCAG, ADA, Section 508) and document/media remediation
Demonstrated experience in instructional design, online course development, or faculty technical support
Experience creating and modifying content in a Learning Management System, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and media-editing tools
Strong communication skills and the ability to support faculty at varying levels of technological proficiency
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, accessibility studies, or related discipline
Experience working in higher education academic-support units
Experience developing accessible video, audio, and graphic media
Knowledge of OSCQR, Quality Matters, or other online learning design rubrics
Experience supporting faculty in online teaching and learning
Salary (Applicant View) $57,151 minimum, plus excellent benefits
