ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Tatra Solutions is seeking a qualified Instructor to support AFROTC Det 005 at Auburn University. This position offers a unique opportunity to continue serving the nation by educating, mentoring, and developing future Air Force and Space Force officers in a university environment. This position is responsible for teaching college-level curriculum focused on USAF and USSF foundations, Department of the Air Force history, leadership principles, and national security affairs. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and leadership skills, prior military experience, and a passion for developing future Air Force leaders through classroom instruction and student engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach Aerospace Studies curriculum and leadership concepts. Mentor cadets and support professional development. Support Leadership Laboratory (LLAB), PMT, and related training activities. Assist with recruiting, outreach, and university engagement events. Monitor cadet progress and support program administration.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Four years of relevant professional experience OR eight years of directly related experience. Strong leadership, communication, instructional, and mentoring skills. Ability to pass required background screening and obtain credentials.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior commissioned military service, particularly Air Force or Space Force. Prior AFROTC, OTS, PME, instructor, command, recruiting, or leadership development experience. Experience working with college-age students.
