Position Overview The Instructional Facilitator plays a key role in supporting the district's instructional initiatives by providing leadership and guidance to classroom teachers. This position is designed to enhance the effectiveness of classroom instruction through collaboration, coaching, and the delivery of professional development. The Instructional Facilitator will work closely with teachers and other school leaders to implement evidence-based practices, align curricula, and improve student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Professional Development:
Design, deliver, and evaluate professional development sessions focused on effective instructional strategies, foundational skill acquisition, and supporting struggling learners. Provide training for staff on best practices through collaborative meetings, coaching, and model teaching.Curriculum Support:
Assist in the development, alignment, and evaluation of district curricula to ensure it meets state and national standards across all grade levels and subjects. Support teachers in implementing these curricula effectively.Assessment and Data Analysis:
Plan and administer interim, classroom, and summative assessments. Analyze the results of state-mandated and formative assessments (e.g., NWEA) to guide instructional adjustments and improve student performance.Classroom Coaching and Support:
Provide ongoing support to classroom teachers through observation, feedback, and co-teaching. Help teachers implement best practices in the classroom and refine their instructional techniques.Collaboration and Leadership:
Foster collaboration among teachers and school leaders to drive instructional improvement. Take the lead in facilitating discussions and meetings that focus on continuous improvement and student success.District-wide Implementation:
Assist in the district-wide implementation of formative and summative assessments, ensuring alignment with instructional goals and facilitating smooth transitions between instruction and testing.Other Duties:
Perform any additional tasks as assigned related to supporting the district's instructional goals. Knowledge, Skills and Abilitie s Strong understanding of current teaching methods, educational pedagogy, and differentiated instruction. Knowledge of K-12 curricula across various grade levels and subjects, including special education. Ability to analyze data and develop actionable plans based on assessment results. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for interacting with students, staff, and the community. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to build strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders. Proficiency in using technology for instruction, data analysis, and communication. Experience Successful teaching experience, with proven effectiveness in K-12 education. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in collaborating with teachers and administrators to improve instructional practices. Experience designing and delivering professional development sessions. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university AR State Teacher Certification Master's Degree in a related field is preferredDesired Qualifications Certification/License:
AR State Teacher Certification, with preference for certification in the relevant grade level.Additional Skills:
