Jul 13, 2026 Job Description Join a District That Inspires Hope Union Elementary School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructional Coach who believes all students are capable of success and is committed to supporting teachers in delivering high-quality instruction that leads to increased student achievement. At Union ESD, Instructional Coaches serve as instructional leaders who partner with teachers and administrators to strengthen teaching practices, support curriculum implementation, and promote a culture of continuous learning. With three K-8 schools serving fewer than 700 students each, our coaches have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting impact on both staff and students. Position Overview The Instructional Coach supports student achievement and instructional effectiveness by providing coaching, professional learning, and instructional support to teachers. This role collaborates with school leaders and staff to improve teaching practices, analyze student data, and ensure high-quality instruction aligned to district goals and state standards. Key Responsibilities Coach and support teachers in implementing effective instructional practices. Analyze student achievement data and assist teachers in using data to guide instruction. Model lessons, co-teach, and provide classroom-based instructional support. Facilitate professional development and collaborative team meetings. Support curriculum implementation and alignment with state standards. Collaborate with administrators to support school improvement goals. Serve as a resource for teachers in instructional strategies, classroom management, and assessment practices. Support new teacher development and ongoing professional growth. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required. Master's Degree preferred. Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate. Successful teaching experience and strong instructional knowledge. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Why Union ESD?
