Academic Coach
QUALIFICATIONS
AZ certified in Single or Multiple Subjects Knowledge and awareness of Native American Culture. Training in Differentiated instruction and data driven instruction.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT
9 months
REPORTS TO
Principal
JOB GOAL
To provide support to staff to increase student achievement.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Design training materials and provide professional development training to address and/or identify teacher instructional needs. Work directly with teachers in providing classroom based demonstrations, collaborative and one-on-one support and facilitating teacher inquiry and related professional development. To work with teachers to enhance the teacher's ability to provide instruction that builds the students' sense of engagement in ownership of learning. To collect and analyze data, interpret and use it to guide instructional decisions. Other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
