SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology and Autism Authorization
  • Thorough knowledge of ABA principles
  • Experience with creating behavior intervention plans
  • Experience presenting functional behavior assessment reports at IEP meetings.
  • Ability to provide modeling, collaboration and guidance to staff responsible for the implementation of behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement systems.
  • Possess the ability to teach replacement behaviors to students and staff.
  • Understand the principles of extinction and behavior modification
  • Ability to Pass DOJ Background/Fingerprint Check
  • Tuberculosis Clearance
  • Valid California Driver License
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and ABA strategies in the school setting.
  • Additional training for students on the autism spectrum, moderate to extensive needs.
