SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology and Autism Authorization
- Thorough knowledge of ABA principles
- Experience with creating behavior intervention plans
- Experience presenting functional behavior assessment reports at IEP meetings.
- Ability to provide modeling, collaboration and guidance to staff responsible for the implementation of behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement systems.
- Possess the ability to teach replacement behaviors to students and staff.
- Understand the principles of extinction and behavior modification
- Ability to Pass DOJ Background/Fingerprint Check
- Tuberculosis Clearance
- Valid California Driver License
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and ABA strategies in the school setting.
- Additional training for students on the autism spectrum, moderate to extensive needs.
