Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher (Extensive Support Needs

• Mod/Severe) to lead a Special Day Class in Marysville, CA. This role involves supporting students with significant needs while managing classroom structure and staff to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.

Caseload & Requirements:

Class caseload of 10-15 students Prior experience in an ESN Special Day Class required Experience developing and managing IEPs Ability to understand and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Experience coaching and supervising 5-9 paraeducators

Requirements:

Active California Moderate/Severe Special Education Credential (required)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and BIPs Lead and support classroom paraprofessionals Collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance Compensation for this position ranges from $33.34 to $53.34.
