Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Talent:
Perform day to day recruitment processes including sourcing, resume reviews and phone screens for school and central office roles Work closely with hiring managers to coordinate interviews Strong relationship building and ongoing communication with applicants and prospective candidates. Support the Recruitment Manager in sourcing prospective instructional candidates to increase the number of qualified applicants Conduct new hire reference checks Train and support new hiring managers on Voices hiring practices Create and extend offer materials to candidatesMarketing and Outreach:
Talen Team Newsletters creation in a monthly basis Create media communication, flyers and posting creation through multiple online channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter etc. Plan and attend hiring events/job fairs throughout Northern California, often on evenings and weekends Assist in various projects as neededRequired Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience Minimum 1-2 years of recruitment, marketing, outreach, or related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience giving formal presentations and trainings strongly preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish Outstanding organizational skills Outstanding project management and extraordinary attention to detail High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Apps Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines Must have reliable transportation Works well in a high pressure environmentPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience working with low-income communities preferred and demonstrated understanding of recruiting bilingual educators Experience in supporting HR/talent functions within an organization Proficient in the use of social media and job boards Flexible, results-oriented team player who is dedicated to getting the job doneWorking Conditions:
Regular requirement to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, see, read, speak, reach, stretch with hands and arms, stoop, kneel and crouch. Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
