Blended Learning Specialist at Stanbridge Academy Print Application Deadline 7/31/2026 11:55 PM Pacific Date Posted 4/30/2026 Contact Julie Smith 650 375 5860 203 Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range 70,000 - 120,000 Annually Add'l Salary Info Depending on Experience Length of Work Year School year 2026-2027 Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Learning Specialist Stanbridge Academy is seeking a skilled and collaborative Education Specialist to support students with mild to moderate learning differences, including specific learning disabilities, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and related needs. This role is ideal for an educator who excels in IEP case management, specialized academic instruction, coaching faculty and coordination with LEA partners. The Learning Specialist is our school liaison with school district IEP's and our faculty. Training and ongoing support of our faculty is an integral part of the position. Reporting to the Head of School, the Learning Specialist works closely with faculty to offer support and training on use of best practice for modifying student work in the classroom. Key Responsibilities Serve as IEP Case Manager for students with mild/moderate support needs Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings with LEA representatives, families, and service providers Act as liaison between the Stanbridge Academy and partner school districts (LEAs) Work with faculty to monitor and report student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists and other providers to implement accommodations and supports Support students with organization, study skills, and self-advocacy Ensure compliance with IDEA, California Education Code, and SELPA requirements Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation Qualifications Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate Prior experience working with students with learning differences and executive functioning challenges Strong knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and NPS processes Demonstrated ability of managing student data with confidentiality Excellent listening, speaking and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively Commitment to supporting and furthering developing a strengths-based approach to learning support at Sta Job Description /
Essential Elements:
Print Learning Specialist Stanbridge Academy is a private school in San Mateo serving K-12 students with mildmoderate learning differences. We seek a resource specialist to provide classroom support to students, professional support to our teachers, and administrative support to the school. The successful candidate will be creative, knowledgeable in the field of special education and learning support, highly organized, and deeply committed to helping students who struggle in school. The responsibilities of the resource specialist include: individual learning support to students; classroom support to teachers as they individualize and refine their approach given a student's learning profile; oversight of IEPs and relationships with school districts; and modeling innovative practice across the program.Requirements for this position:
