California Education Specialist Instruction Credential:
Mild to Moderate Support Needs, or an equivalent California special education credential. California's Mild to Moderate Support Needs credential authorizes special education instruction and support for students across TK-12 through age 22, depending on the credential authorization.

Soliant Responsibilities The Special Education Teacher will provide direct instruction, academic support, and case management services to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Responsibilities may include developing and implementing IEPs, adapting curriculum, tracking student progress, collaborating with general education teachers and support staff, participating in IEP meetings, and maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements. Requirements A valid California Special Education Teaching Credential, preferably Mild/Moderate Support Needs or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field Experience supporting students with IEPs Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills Ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers Benefits Soliant offers competitive weekly pay, health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) options, recruiter support, and access to school-based opportunities throughout the country.
