Job Description
Overview True North HealthWorks is seeking an energetic and collaborative Program Manager/Quality Instruction Coach for their Junior Medical Academy (JMA) program. This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring the consistent delivery of engaging, high-quality STEM and healthcare pathway programming for students. The Program Manager/Quality Instruction Coach provides both program leadership and instructional coaching for a team of Instructors and Instructional Aides across multiple school sites. This position is responsible for developing instructor capacity through ongoing coaching, classroom observations, feedback sessions, and professional learning support. Duties Serves as the lead Instructional Coach for JMA instructors and Instructional Aides across program sites Conduct regular classroom observations and coaching cycles to support instructional improvement in conjunction with the Program Managers Provide actionable, strengths-based feedback to Instructors to enhance lesson delivery, classroom management, and student engagement Identify instructional trends, challenges, opportunities for improvement across sites through assessment data Ensure instructional quality, consistency, and fidelity to the JMA curriculum through observational data and feedback Create methods to measure quality instruction Support the Training Specialist in designing and facilitating session debriefs and semi-annual instructor training Supervise and support a team of Instructors and Instructional Aides Track program attendance and monitor program quality across all designated sites Conduct weekly site visits to ensure program excellence and instructional consistency and provide feedback to Director Build strong working relationships with ELOP program staff and school site administrators Coordinate with the Events Coordinator to support field trips and guest speakers Communicate program updates and information with parents and stakeholders Serve as a substitute Instructor as needed to maintain program continuity Report program updates, instructional insights, and coaching outcomes to the Senior Program Manager All other duties assigned Reports to
