Job Description

Our client, a leader in enterprise learning and development, is seeking a Instructional Designer & LMS Specialist to join their team. As a Instructional Designer & LMS Specialist, you will be part of the Talent Development department supporting enterprise-wide training standards and LMS stabilization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong LMS administration skills, instructional design expertise, and the ability to develop clear documentation for diverse audiences, which will align successfully in the organization.

$48-52/hour, based on experience What's the Job? Support LMS stabilization efforts by auditing, remapping, testing, and documenting LMS configurations and enrollment rules. Lead technical activities related to job architecture changes impacting ADP, Oracle HCM, and Absorb LMS systems. Design and document enterprise training standards, governance practices, and quality review processes to ensure consistent, scalable, and compliant training delivery. Conduct stakeholder interviews, audit training catalogs, and develop standards for course design, accessibility, and content management. Provide formal knowledge transfer and produce comprehensive LMS documentation, including admin runbooks and standards libraries. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of LMS administration experience in an enterprise environment. Proven experience managing enrollment rules, user groups, automated communications, and reporting within an LMS platform. Experience working with HRIS integrations and understanding employee data impact on LMS behavior. Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders. What's in it for me?
