Curriculum Coordinator The Learning Experience Position Summary:
The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate and organized Curriculum Coordinator to support our teachers in delivering a high-quality educational experience. The Curriculum Coordinator will ensure curriculum implementation, maintain classroom compliance, coach teachers, and help create engaging learning environments that promote children's growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Support and monitor the implementation of The Learning Experience curriculum in all classrooms. Conduct regular classroom observations and provide coaching and feedback to teachers. Ensure classrooms remain compliant with licensing regulations and company standards. Assist teachers with lesson planning, curriculum preparation, and classroom management strategies. Maintain curriculum materials and resources throughout the center. Train new staff on curriculum expectations, educational practices, and classroom procedures. Track and support child development assessments and documentation. Collaborate with center leadership to improve educational quality and classroom performance. Participate in family events, center activities, and educational initiatives. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for children and staff.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an early childhood education setting. Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Previous leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with teachers, families, and leadership. Knowledge of state licensing regulations and quality standards preferred.
