POSITION TITLE
Instructional Resource Coordinator , Grades 6-8
SUMMARY:
Coordinates the distribution, storage, inventory, ordering and maintenance of textbooks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned. Processing of new and replacement textbooks/curriculum materials. Coordinate the distribution of textbooks/curriculum materials to departments and teachers within the school. Process textbooks for refurbishing. Advise supervisor(s) on status of textbook inventory. Distribute textbooks/curriculum materials to schools and/or teachers when needed.

EXPECTATIONS
Staff assigned to these positions is expected to perform their duties with the following expectations in mind: All supervisory responsibilities must be fulfilled. In particular, students must be supervised at all times. Ability to read, interpret directions, write reports and communicate effectively with students, parents and other staff. Ability to calculate figures and perform any math functions associated with the position and provides budget input when requested. Ability to apply common sense and deal with problems in a practical and reasonable manner. Ability to apply computer knowledge and skills to the activity at hand. Ability to perform duties with all district and Board of Education guidelines and policies in mind
