Shift:
Days Job Summary:
Instruct multiple radiography courses annually in alignment with the CT State Community College - Middlesex academic calendar, including the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. This position will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction for various courses in radiologic technology, ensuring alignment with ARRT-approved content and JRCERT accreditation standards. This role involves curriculum development, classroom instruction, and staying current with evolving industry practices and technologies. Key duties and
Responsibilities:
Course Instruction:
Deliver engaging and effective instruction in radiologic technology courses at the college level, both in classroom and clinical settings.
Curriculum Development:
Design and update course materials and syllabi in accordance with the ARRT Content Specifications, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the topics outlined in the ARRT's Radiography Examination Content Specifications .
Standards Compliance:
Ensure all instructional activities and course content meet JRCERT accreditation standards and institutional policies.
Professional Development:
Stay informed of current trends, technologies, and best practices in radiologic science and education. Integrate new knowledge into course content and teaching methods.
Student Support:
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes student success.
Collaboration:
Work closely with program faculty, clinical coordinators, and administrative staff to maintain program quality and accreditation standards.
Administration:
Perform other assigned tasks as assigned by the Program Director.
Minimum Requirements:
ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to student success and professional integrity
Preferred Skills:
