Job Title:
English 2 Curriculum Writer Position Overview We are seeking experienced educators to develop high-quality curriculum materials for English 2. Writers will collaborate to design engaging, standards-aligned instructional resources that support student learning and teacher implementation. Responsibilities Write and revise lesson plans, unit guides, assessments, and/or supplementary materials for English 2 Align all content to relevant state and/or Common Core ELA standards Incorporate best practices in literacy instruction, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening Collaborate with team leads and other curriculum writers to ensure coherence and consistency across units Incorporate feedback from reviewers in a timely manner Qualifications Teaching experience in secondary English/Language Arts Strong understanding of ELA standards and curriculum design principles Excellent written communication skills Ability to meet deadlines and work independently Compensation & Time Commitment This is a paid contract position Writers are expected to contribute a maximum of 20 hours per teacher Flexible schedule; work may be completed remotely
