Job Description The Instructional Coach is a key instructional leader responsible for improving teacher effectiveness and student achievement through high-quality coaching, modeling, and data-driven support. Reporting to the Principal, the Instructional Coach works directly with teachers to strengthen instructional practices, ensure rigorous curriculum implementation, and drive measurable academic results. This role is focused on developing teachers through consistent coaching cycles, actionable feedback, and targeted professional development. The Instructional Coach plays a critical role in ensuring that every classroom delivers engaging, standards-aligned instruction that meets the needs of all learners. Key Activities Instructional Leadership & Coaching Lead weekly coaching cycles for assigned teachers, including observation, feedback, modeling, and follow-up. Conduct frequent classroom walkthroughs and provide real-time, actionable feedback. Model high-quality instruction, including co-teaching and demonstration lessons. Support lesson internalization and planning to ensure rigorous,standards-aligned instruction. Ensure consistent implementation of instructional frameworks and best practices. Curriculum Implementation Support teachers in executing curriculum with fidelity, including pacing, lesson delivery, and assessments. Assistin unpacking standards and aligninginstructionto learningobjectives. Data-Driven Instruction Lead or support weekly data meetings to analyze student performance andidentifytrends. Support teachers in developing and executingreteachplans and targeted interventions. Monitor progress toward academic goals and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Culture & Staff Development Design andfacilitatetargetedPDsessions based on teacher needs and data trends. Model a growth-oriented, high-expectations mindset for all staff. Build strong relationships with teachers to foster trust and continuous improvement. Reinforce a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professionalism. Qualifications Bachelor's degreerequired(Master'spreferred) 3+ years of teaching experience with strong instructional results Proventrack recordof improving student achievement Deep knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and data analysis Reference Checks All final candidates for this position will be asked to arrange three reference checks one of which must be with a former manager.
