MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Five (5) years of teaching experience Holds valid Georgia Certification at T-5 level or higher Experience with
MTSS/RTI
implementation at the school or district level. Strong background in data analysis, instructional strategies, and intervention practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to provide effective professional development and coaching.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrates ability to attend to details and to efficiently multi-task Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs Demonstrates knowledge of Georgia Standards of Excellence Demonstrates knowledge of research-based instructional strategies Demonstrates ability to model and assist teachers in implementing instructional strategies in the designated content area Demonstrates knowledge of available instructional interventions and the ability to supervise and evaluate their effective implementation Demonstrates ability to interpret and implement federal laws, state rules, and local policies Demonstrates an ability to collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data Demonstrates professional interpersonal skills with school staff, central office staff, parents/guardians, students, and community Demonstrates ability to work with limited supervision Demonstrates an excellent attendance record
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the district's RTI framework to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Data Analysis & Progress Monitoring
  • Collect, analyze, and use student performance data to drive decision-making and ensure effective interventions. Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)
  • Collaborate with schools to ensure effective tiered interventions for academic and behavioral support. Assessment & Screening
  • Support the administration of universal screeners and diagnostic assessments to identify students needing intervention. Teacher Support & Professional Development
  • Provide training and coaching for educators on intervention strategies, progress monitoring, differentiation, and other areas to support the MTSS program. Collaboration with Schools & Teams
  • Work closely with principals, instructional coaches, interventionists, and special education teams to support student success. Family & Community Engagement
  • Communicate with parents about RTI processes, student progress, and available support services. Intervention Resource Management
  • Identify, implement, and support high-quality intervention programs and instructional materials. Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure accurate documentation of RTI processes, interventions, and progress monitoring to meet state and federal guidelines. Referral & Support Services
  • Assist schools in making appropriate referrals for students who may require additional services, such as special education evaluations.
