Job Description

Summary Bridge Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate instructional coach to join our team on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE). The instructional coach will support teachers in enhancing their instructional practices, improving student learning outcomes, and fostering a collaborative learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, a commitment to professional development, and the ability to work effectively with diverse educators and students. Responsibilities Collaborate with teachers to design and implement effective instructional strategies and practices. Provide individualized coaching and support to educators in areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment techniques. Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers to promote continuous improvement. Facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions on best practices in teaching and learning. Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum materials and instructional resources. Analyze student performance data to identify trends and areas for growth, and support teachers in developing targeted interventions. Foster a positive and collaborative school culture by promoting open communication and teamwork among staff. Stay current with educational research, trends, and best practices to inform coaching strategies and professional development initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of three years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting. Proven experience in instructional coaching or mentoring teachers is highly desirable. Strong understanding of instructional strategies, assessment practices, and curriculum development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with educators and students. Ability to analyze data and use it to inform instructional decisions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for improving student outcomes. Knowledge of diverse learning needs and strategies for supporting all learners. Flexibility to work part-time hours and adapt to the needs of the school community. All recommendations for hire are tentative offers. Employment is contingent upon board approval, and successful completion of a federal background check and drug-free workplace pre-employment screening.
