William Everett consulting is trusted by institutions, governments, and Fortune 500 technology companies to help them adapt, evolve, and improve performance. We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer/Trainer with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud and ERP transformation. This position is responsible for developing interactive, user-centric training materials and applications that optimize end-user engagement with Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), Financials, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules. This role blends learning design, hands-on Oracle Fusion knowledge, and training facilitation skills to support successful user adoption throughout the Oracle implementation lifecycle. The Instructional Designer/Trainer will design, deliver, and maintain innovative learning solutions, including Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) content, and serve as a bridge between business process owners, super users, and end-users. The ideal candidate is adept at translating complex system workflows and business processes into compelling, accessible training experiences, acting as both a liaison and subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud applications across all user groups.
Key Responsibilities Learning Design & Content Development Team Collaboration:
Collaborate within a team focused on the development and integration of Oracle Cloud Fusion applications.User Story Interpretation:
Read and interpret user stories, business requirements, and functional design documents; translate these into measurable learning objectives using Bloom's Taxonomy.Instructional Design Methodology:
Apply ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent instructional design frameworks to plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate all learning solutions.Storyboarding:
Create storyboards to map out course structure, screen flow, narration scripts, and interactivity before development begins in authoring tools.Training Resources:
Design, develop, and maintain training resources for Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM, Financials, and SCM)—including process documentation, eLearning, simulations, quick-reference guides, and microlearning. eLearning Authoring:
Build engaging eLearning courses and interactive simulations using Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise as the primary authoring tools.Video Production:
Produce, record, and edit high-quality training videos using Camtasia or equivalent screen-capture and video-editing software, including voiceover narration, callouts, and post-production editing.Oracle Guided Learning:
Gather information from Subject Matter Experts to develop, organize, and document procedures for Oracle Guided Learning and other curricula.OGL Content Management:
Prepare, review, and maintain Oracle Guided Learning guides, smart tips, beacons, messages, tasks, mobile guides, and related functions.Content Maintenance:
Update and revise training materials in response to system updates, process changes, and user feedback.Quality & Accessibility:
Ensure all content meets project standards for style, accessibility (Section 508/WCAG), and instructional effectiveness.Training Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement Train-the-Trainer:
Lead and deliver Train-the-Trainer programs for process owners and super users.Training Facilitation:
Facilitate live, virtual, and hybrid training sessions, adjusting delivery to suit employee groups (administrative staff, teachers, managers, etc.).Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional project teams (change management, business, IT) to ensure learning content aligns with project milestones and business objectives.Stakeholder Partnership:
Partner with business process owners and subject matter experts for information gathering, content validation, and feedback. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or a related field required. 3+ years of instructional design or training experience with significant exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM, SCM, or Financials) or similar enterprise ERP systems (Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.). Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work from Agile user stories and functional requirements to develop training content. Solid track record of designing and delivering training for business applications, including eLearning, instructor-led, and virtual learning formats. Demonstrated capability in delivering Train-the-Trainer programs and large-scale end-user enablement. Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise as primary eLearning authoring tools (required). Hands-on experience recording, editing, and producing training videos with Camtasia or similar video-editing software, including voiceover, annotations, and export for LMS delivery. Solid experience applying instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and frameworks such as Bloom's Taxonomy to real-world training projects. Demonstrated storyboarding skills. Ability to plan and document course structure, branching logic, and interactivity prior to development. Experience with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for supplemental material creation and Google Workspace. Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt materials for different user profiles. Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a large, fast-moving environment. Familiarity with project management principles and strong capability to work within cross-functional teams. Demonstrated collaboration and relationship-building skills with business leaders, IT teams, and end-users. Preferred Qualifications Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) certification strongly preferred. Certification in instructional design or learning technologies (e.g., ATD, CPLP, or equivalent). Familiarity with Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK), or similar digital adoption platforms (training will be provided). Experience in public sector, education, or large-scale ERP transformation initiatives. Additional requirements Ability to pass a criminal background check.
