Academic Curriculum Liaison Quincy Junior High School Social Studies Stipend Position

Title 1 Grant Internal Candidates Only
  • QJHS QUALIFICATIONS
  • IL Professional Educator License in content area (middle school social science endorsement).
  • Current teaching position in the content area for desired position.
  • Master's degree in Education Administration, Teacher Leader Specialist, and/or content area preferred.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department to model, observe, and discuss instructional practice and strategies after school and/or during the scheduled planning period.
  • Facilitate the development and review of standards aligned/competency-based assessments for the content area.
  • Serve as the instructional leader/liaison for the department.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the QPS standards-aligned curriculum, instruction, and assessment system.
  • Facilitate department specific professional development monthly.
  • Attend monthly collaboration meeting with building level administration.
  • Attend quarterly
