Romeoville The School of Expressive Arts and Learning is looking for an Education Coordinator to join our team. The Education Coordinator functions as the team lead for the education department, as well as the IEP coordinator and liaison to partnered school districts. Start date

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education with LBS1 (Master's Preffered)
  • 5 years teaching in the classroom (special education)
  • 5 years experience writing IEPs If hired as a current employee or teacher at S.
E.A.L., this person must be in good standing with S.E.A.L. (punctuality, attendance and annual reviews). An Education Coordinator must display exemplary understanding of writing legally sound IEP paperwork. Data driven goals Data driven Behavior plans Data driven Functional Assessments Summary of Performance Education Coordinators must have experience running IEP meetings and have an understanding around the give and take of these meetings. The ideal person will have exemplary problem solving skills and is a mentor to others exceptional written and verbal communication skills experience in managing employees, including their department of LBS1 teachers strong collaboration and time management skills T he educator must have a Principal Endorsement on their PEL. (Formerly Type 75) Salary Commesurate with Experience.
