Design and implement useful reading interventions using research-based methodology. Communicate with Collaborative personnel and parents/guardians of students regarding reading levels and rate of progress. Complete student evaluations/screenings/standardized testing in accordance with Collaborative guidelines Provide direct instruction in individual and small group interventions and assist with classroom implementation Complete daily service documentation Gather, compile, and disaggregate data; and link that data to student learning and inform instruction. Differentiate instruction based on assessment data. Write professional reports, develop Individual Education Programs (IEP), maintain data collection employing research-based best practice strategies to demonstrate student progress and adjust student goals Document interventions and progress on each student. Develop and implement lesson plans and show written evidence of preparation as required. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned. Present subject matter according to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks using deep/deeper learning pedagogy Work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
