QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate degree in early childhood education or development or 3 or more years of relevant work experience

FBR Business Manager

CDC locations, FBR main office
WORK SCHEDULE
40 + hours per week
PRIMARY ROLES
The early childhood coordinator will perform duties with advice and consent of their supervisor while developing and maintaining efficient and productive systems where appropriate.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervise CDC directors and complete yearly evaluations 2. Responsible for development and monitoring of CDC annual performance goals and create CDC improvement plans for each center to achieve goals 3. Review monthly financial statements and accounts receivables for all CDCs. Teach strategies for efficiency and improvement. 4. Review yearly professional development plans for CDC ensuring relevancy based on needs of the staff, children and overall needs of the center 5. Know FBR and CDC contracts and policies. 6. Monitor Great Start Readiness Program contracts, budgets, and reporting for accuracy and efficiency. Ensure all local and state requirements are met. 7. Monitor each center's participation in the Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) including ensuring compliance with the performance quality assessments, results and implementation of improvement plans. 8. Align and implement common curriculum and assessments across all centers. 9. Actively look for additional funding sources for CDCs; write and apply for grants. 10. Participate in community events, workshops and meetings to promote the mission of the child development centers in Kalamazoo and Calhoun counties. 11. Assist the business office with developing marketing plans for CDCs 12. Community Relations & Marketing - increase enrollment and community awareness 13. Responsible for licensing issues as Licensee designee for all CDC's; report status of each center and incidents to FBR Business Manager 14. Conduct and create staff trainings for all CDC's
EVALUATION
A performance evaluation will be conducted at the end of the first six months and annually thereafter.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience and education. Eligible for a monthly bonus.
