Duties and Responsibilities:
Write and facilitate professional development around effective intervention instruction. Support in providing vision and direction for reading intervention instruction for all NHA schools. Model effective literacy and intervention instruction. Write and execute lesson plans, assessments, or other instructional routines/frameworks. Work to enhance teacher quality through direct coaching at schools around effective instruction, data analysis, and assessment administration. Research best practices with regards to reading intervention curriculum, professional development and student learning. Ability to travel as required (approximately 2-5 overnights per month).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education is required, Master's Degree in preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience preferred. Experience with Reading Mastery and Corrective Reading instructional programs. Experience writing and presenting professional development. Experience coaching teachers and/or instructional leaders. Ability to work independently. Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills. Use technology for collaboration.
