• The Education and Student Placement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering educational programs where applicable, student clinical placements, internships, practicums, observations, and other learning experiences throughout the healthcare system. This position serves as a central liaison between the healthcare system, academic institutions, students, clinical departments, managers, educators, and other educational partners. The Coordinator ensures that student placements are appropriately scheduled, documented, approved, and completed in accordance with organizational policies, academic requirements, regulatory expectations, accreditation standards, and applicable affiliation agreements. The position manages the student placement process from initial request through completion, including affiliation agreement coordination, placement matching, student onboarding, compliance verification, tracking, communication, and documentation. The Coordinator also supports system-wide education initiatives, workforce pipeline programs, internships, apprenticeships, job-shadowing experiences, and other initiatives designed to develop and strengthen the healthcare workforce. Will assist with clerical tasks in our online learning platforms and assist in Human Resources as needed.
Qualifications:
Education Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent education and relevant healthcare, education, student services, or administrative experience may be considered. Experience Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative, healthcare education, student placement, workforce development, human resources, academic coordination, or related experience preferred. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Experience working with colleges, universities, nursing programs, allied health programs, or other educational institutions preferred. Experience coordinating multiple projects, schedules, or stakeholders preferred.
Knowledge Working knowledge of:
Healthcare operations Clinical education and student placement processes Academic/clinical affiliation relationships Healthcare compliance requirements HIPAA and patient confidentiality Occupational health requirements Healthcare workforce development Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems Database and spreadsheet management.
