Job Title:
Prison Education Program Systems Support Specialist
GENERAL SUMMARY
: The purpose of this position is to support the Prison Education Program by maintaining Department of Corrections systems (e.g. MOCIS), Lantern, Jenzabar, and will assist with tracking, updating and communication related to transfers, graduations, and violation and other removals. In addition, this position will support the review of conduct violations weekly. May also provide support to other areas of the PEP program as requested. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Updating
MOCIS -45
% Tracking Transfers-5% Tracking Graduations-5% Updating Lantern and Jenzabar-10% Submitting Letters to Facilities due to removal for students-20% Tracking and removal of apps from Lantern-5% Assist with tracking of violations and notifying facilities-10% Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor's degree preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to sit for extended periods of time
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Microsoft Office experience preferred.

This position is maintained at the Central Office for the Missouri Department of Corrections and the individual must work from this location. Must pass all background checks and be eligible to work within a correctional facility and undergo all relevant trainings.
