Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking an Instructional Design Specialist to join our North American Disaster Relief team in North Wilkesboro, NC . Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Instructional Design Specialist , you will have the opportunity to: Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ, and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ Apply proven adult learning design principles to create training using eLearning development software (including Articulate 360, Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, Totara, and Adobe Creative Suite). Work closely with Training Team to support multi-media training initiatives for key partners, staff and volunteers as needed. Provide learning management system support and development. Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine if online training is necessary to meet organizational objectives and be responsible for monitoring participant progress. Other duties as assigned What are the qualifications? Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and delivery industry; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Thorough knowledge of adult learning principles Thorough knowledge of eLearning development software Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems or similar software systems Application of customer relations skills General knowledge of communication skills General knowledge of technical writing skills Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required.
