Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative eLearning Instructional Designer to join our team and drive the development of engaging, effective online learning experiences. We operate a Learning Management System (LMS) for facilities that employ health care aides — home health agencies, assisted living, skilled nursing, and hospice — nationwide. Facilities use us for their recurring in-service training, for customer-specific onboarding programs, and for HR services, all from one system. This role owns the content behind that platform. You will keep our existing module catalog accurate and current, build new customer onboarding modules from our templates, and oversee production of the accompanying videos. Our training module production pipeline is well documented and heavily AI-assisted. You will also participate in testing the platform before new releases, take support calls from the companies that use it, and support our HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance programs. It is a broad role at a small company. Roughly half your week is heads-down production inside the training module production pipeline. The rest is customer contact, product testing, and the organized follow-through that keeps a compliance program on schedule. Responsibilities Module production Refine existing module content — reviewing for factual accuracy, instructional quality, and presentation, and correcting any errors. Update modules to reflect current platform capabilities, including our newest automation features. Build new customer onboarding modules from our templates. Use AI throughout the workflow — drafting, revision, narration scripting, quality checks — with clinical accuracy verified by our Registered Nurse reviewers Write for a health care aide audience: plain language, low reading level, translation-friendly phrasing. Scope customer requests into deliverable modules on a predictable timeline, and hold that timeline through revisions Conduct research on current learning theories, instructional best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve course effectiveness. Support the integration of assessment tools, quizzes, and interactive activities to measure learner progress effectively. Video production Coordinate video production for modules — scripting, scheduling, vendor or in-house shoots, and review cycles Produce AI talking-head intro videos and maybe edit existing footage. Product testing and customer support Test new releases against defined cases across both the training platform and our HR services features; write clear, reproducible bug reports Take inbound support calls from facilities nationwide, resolve what you can, and escalate cleanly what you cannot Feed what you learn from support back into the content and the test cases You will not own the compliance program — our leadership does. Your job is to keep it organized and on schedule. Experience Required Proven experience in instructional design within corporate training or educational settings is a plus, but we will train. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with authoring tools including MS PowerPoint Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders at all levels. Experience Desired Strong graphic design skills using graphic design software to produce visually appealing learning materials. Knowledge of adult education principles, learning theories, curriculum design, and curriculum development processes. Experience in developing e-learning programs that incorporate SCORM standards. Join us if you're eager to craft innovative digital learning experiences that inspire growth! We value energetic professionals who thrive on creating impactful educational content that transforms how learners engage with knowledge across industries worldwide .
