Description:
Serves as the instructional leader for teachers and paraprofessionals in PK-12 special class programs. Supervises speech-language specialists and occupational therapists. Ensures consistency in programming by monitoring the curriculum and assessment, working with teachers to arrange PD, and supporting efforts of progress monitoring and data collection. Monitors lesson plans, teaching practices, fidelity to the curriculum, alignment of assessments, data collection, PLAAFP writing and progress reports.
