Job Description

Kent Place School is seeking dedicated part-time Instrumental Music Specialists committed to fostering a love of performance in young students within our thriving instrumental music program. We are currently looking for specialists in the following areas: Upper String Specialist (Violin/Viola) String Specialist (Cello/Bass)
Woodwind Specialist Brass Specialist Compensation:
$100/instructional hour Responsibilities The specialists will work across divisions (grades 3 - 12) to support the technical and musical growth of our students.
Primary duties include:
Leading beginning instructional classes for Grades 3-5. Conducting Middle and Upper School sectional rehearsals. Coaching chamber music ensembles. Providing high-quality private lessons. Participating in and supporting student performances throughout the school year.
Requirements Experience:
A minimum of three years of teaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related academic field or in Music Education/Teaching is preferred. Kent Place School is an equal opportunity employer.
