Job Description
Description The ISD Specialist designs and develops curriculum for aviation training organizations using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and Instructional System Development (ISD) I theory. The ISD Specialist must be able to analyze data, design a course, and translate principles of learning and instruction into instructional materials, activities, information resources, and evaluation. Uses working knowledge of the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) theory and process. Designs and develops curriculum using the SAT. Assist technical writers in the development of training materials ensuring all development stems from an analysis. Group tasks into modules of training and develop appropriate testing instruments. Design and develop teaching aids such as lesson plans, programs of instruction, job aids and student materials using data item descriptions (DIDs). Conduct media analysis to determine instructional methods. Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Workforce Education & Training, Occupational Education, Instructional Design, or other closely related areas of knowledge. 2 years' experience in training, or ISD with demonstrated ability to create training materials using the SAT/ISD process. 6 years' experience of ISD experience in a corporate office.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of military aviation pilot, enlisted aircrew, and maintenance training. Experience in the defense contracting industry.Similar remote jobs
