Pay Range:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Hours Available:
Flexible 20 Hours Per Week Are you an energetic, committed professional interested in providing support to young children who happen to have intellectual or developmental disabilities? Then Mountain Lake Services might be the place for you! Our Vocational Educational Specialist position has a flexible 20 hours per week schedule and is located in Keeseville, NY.
What you get to do:
Develop individualized vocational and educational plans including goals and linkages to support and resources. Support youth in identifying and pursuing career goals, training opportunities, and further educational pathways. Advocate for the implementation and/or continuation of 504 Plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Requirements:
Education:
Master's preferred, Bachelor's with relevant experience accepted.
Experience:
Experience working with youth with mental health challenges and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. Knowledge of educational systems, vocational services, and community resources. Prior experience collaborating with school districts, BOCES, or
ACCESS-VR
