Job Description

Local recruitment: Bilingual Education Coordinator Marys River Watershed Council Corvallis, OR, USA 🇺🇸 Marys River Watershed Council (MRWC) is pleased to announce that we are hiring a Bilingual Education Coordinator to support and expand our hands-on, bilingual environmental education programming for children and youth in the Marys River watershed. This position has been re-scoped to focus on planning and delivering classroom and field-based learning experiences, primarily for elementary students, and working with our high school Youth Watershed Council program and bilingual community members. This position is funded through an Oregon Department of Forestry grant that extends through 2028, with an opportunity to seek other funding to extend the position further. We are looking for someone who loves working with children, is fluent in Spanish and English, and is excited to help students learn through meaningful, place-based outdoor experiences. This role combines environmental education, coordination with teachers and partners, and thoughtful logistical planning to make field experiences possible. This position will be based out of the Marys River Watershed Council office in Corvallis, Oregon and requires the successful candidate to be locally-based.
