If you answered YES to either of these questions, then consider joining our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team! Being an Instructional Support Specialist at Devereux has its advantages! As an Instructional Support Specialist you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Every day as an Instructional Support Specialist you will: Assist in establishing classroom environments that is conducive to maximum learning by maintaining structure and guiding students to socially appropriate behaviors Responsible for the children's welfare, safety, and location at all times, including during arrival and dismissal Work with the Special Education Teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs individually and in small groups Perform ongoing data collection and record keeping as directed by Special Education Teacher Support and reinforce PBIS goals and objectives You will be offered:Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position)Pay-rate:
$17.50- $19.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.EXPERIENCE
: Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.
