10/21/2026 At the present time, a vacancy exists for a Staffing Coordinator position within the Student Services division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU). This position works within Advanced Clinical Services (ACS) to facilitate the provision of one-on-one staff who work with students with special needs. The Staffing Coordinator will handle referrals for services from LEAs, work with a staffing agency, facilitate the training and orientation of new staff, monitor and approve clinical notes, provide ongoing supervision of staff, and maintain communication with all stakeholders. This position will be based at the Engle Education Center in West Grove, PA. The Staffing Coordinator will handle referrals for services from LEAs for direct care staff, work with staffing agencies on staffing the needs, facilitate the training and orientation of new staff, monitor and approve clinical notes, provide ongoing supervision of staff, and maintain communication with all stakeholders. The CCIU provides services to the 12 school districts in Chester County. This includes services to nearly 86,000 public and non-public school students and over 6,000 educators. The Chester County Intermediate Unit is one of 29 regional educational agencies established by law in Pennsylvania in 1971. Working between the Pennsylvania State Department of Education and the local school districts, the Intermediate Unit's mission is to provide services that can be offered most economically at the regional level. Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counseling, or Mental Health, etc. required Master's degree preferred Prior supervisory experience preferred Current child abuse, criminal history, and FBI Fingerprint clearances
Duties & Responsibilities :
Facilitate the provision of services to meet the individualized needs of clients by working in a cross-collaborative effort with Local Education Agencies. Communicate with school districts regarding cases that may require special skills of staff. Work with staffing agency to ensure appropriate staffing of cases. Access online databases and approve the daily submission of electronic logs by staff in a timely and accurate manner and upload any required documents. Update databases as clients are enrolled and exited. Create new accounts for staff as required. Provide orientation, training, and direct supervision to staff, monitor staff performance, and determine staff development needs. Coordinate and oversee the delivery of direct care services delineated in students' IEP plans. Maintain professional communication across all stakeholders to ensure that needs are being met and to identify areas for improvement. Access online databases, monitor the billing system, and audit data to ensure compliance with current state and federal regulations. Provide guidance and training to staff in the use of various computer application programs: word processing, database, spreadsheets, etc. Prepare and submit required reports to districts, state, and federal agencies. Maintain HIPPA and FERPA regulations with regard to student/staff data. Perform additional duties as needed and specified by new mandates and requirements. Salary Range (2026-2027 rates) : Project Staff, Level 13 $62,046 - $77,557 annually
•Placement upon salary scale dependent upon years of experience in similar role.
Schedule :
Monday - Friday; year-round (260 days per year, 7.5 hours per day)
