Job Description

Position Summary:
The Curriculum Coordinator serves as a key member of the school's leadership team, providing instructional leadership while overseeing curriculum implementation, assessment, state reporting, student information systems, and regulatory compliance. This position works collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and outside agencies to ensure high-quality instruction, accurate data management, and compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements. The Curriculum Coordinator also supports special education processes, professional development, and school-wide academic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
State Reporting, Compliance & Student Information Systems Serve as the school's primary administrator for PowerSchool Student Information System. Manage student records, enrollment data, scheduling, and report card processes within PowerSchool. Coordinate and maintain all required Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS) submissions and other PDE reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and charter reporting requirements related to curriculum, assessment, enrollment, attendance, and accountability. Maintain staff Act 48 records and other required educator documentation. Prepare reports and data analyses for school leadership, the Board of Trustees, and regulatory agencies. Curriculum & Instruction Coordinate the development, implementation, review, and continuous improvement of curriculum across all grade levels. Ensure curriculum alignment with Pennsylvania Academic Standards and Charter School requirements. Support teachers through coaching, modeling instructional best practices, and providing curriculum resources. Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology and research-based instructional practices. Assist with the development and maintenance of the school's master schedule. Coordinate the after-school tutoring program and other academic intervention initiatives. Assessment & Student Achievement Coordinate school-wide assessment programs, including i-Ready and PSSA administration. Analyze student achievement data to identify trends, instructional needs, and areas for improvement. Support teachers in using assessment data to inform instruction and intervention. Coordinate report card production and other academic reporting processes. Professional Development & Staff Support Plan and facilitate professional development aligned to school improvement goals. Provide ongoing instructional coaching and support to faculty. Assist teachers with instructional planning, curriculum implementation, and classroom assessment. Communicate staff needs, concerns, and successes to the Principal. Special Education Support Assist in coordinating special education services in collaboration with administration and instructional staff. Support IEP meetings, evaluations, reevaluations, compliance timelines, and required documentation. Collaborate with teachers and service providers to ensure appropriate implementation of student supports. Student Information, Child Accounting & School Operations Assist with student enrollment, withdrawals, residency verification, and child accounting procedures. Support tuition billing, special education billing, and other student-related financial reporting as assigned. Maintain accurate enrollment and attendance records to support funding, compliance, and state reporting. Collaborate with the business office to ensure accurate student data for billing and reimbursement purposes. School Leadership & Collaboration Collaborate with the Principal to support school improvement initiatives and strategic planning. Coordinate Warrior Night planning, preparation, and implementation with faculty and staff. Develop and maintain quarterly Student Success Plans in collaboration with teachers and administration. Identify and recommend instructional resources, educational technology, and curriculum materials. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
