Job Summary The Coordinator, Education Partnerships provides administrative, customer service and event support related to the education programs that are facilitated in schools and the community in conjunction with Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The coordinator, Education Partnerships is responsible for coordinating art education experiences at schools and community partner sites, processing payments, creating schedules, generating, and verifying reports, and updating internal department records. This position reports to and works closely with the Senior Manager, Education Partnerships. This position also works alongside the full education and engagement team to support departmental goals and objectives. This opportunity is full-time, 40-hours per week. Job Duties Facilitate the scheduling, planning, implementation and evaluation for Segerstrom Center residencies, professional development, and community partnerships, communicating directly with education partners via telephone and e-mail. Monitor and track residency program quality through evaluation forms, communication with schools, and off programming visits, in conjunction with Senior Manager, Education Partnerships. Work closely with Senior Manager, Education Partnerships on the planning and execution of annual youth showcase s and teaching artist professional development events. Teaching Artist recruitment and onboarding administration Develop and maintain reporting systems that tell the story and demonstrate the impact of Segerstrom Center education programs. Provide integral support in growing the teaching artist roster as we identify and recruit talent from throughout California. Represent Segerstrom Center's education programs at schools and community events. Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in carrying out responsibilities. Database entry and record-keeping. Program data tracking and reporting. Program research and information gathering. Being present before, during, and after department events; includes events occurring before and after traditional work hours and/or on weekends. Flexibility in work hours is a necessity for the Segerstrom Center's education and community work. Other duties may be assigned in support of departmental goals. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience, with a practical understanding of K12 academic setting and arts administration desired. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, comfortable in a professional office setting using available computer technology, with an ability for learning new software. Database aptitude, experience with Tessitura is beneficial. Punctuality and availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
