Job Description

Do you enjoy educating others? If so, Modern Woodmen's Field Education department needs a Field Education Specialist to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of education programs and systems to new field representatives and administrative assistants. You would also track and document the progress through these training programs and provide ongoing reporting to field managers. Modern Woodmen of America is one of the nation's largest fraternal benefit societies, with over $18 billion assets. They unite individuals with common bonds, provide a variety of life insurance and investment products, and form one of the nation's most effective volunteer networks.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and coordinate training for new Financial Representatives (FR) and Associate Financial Representatives (AFR) by utilizing Modern Woodmen's education systems and programs. This education will be conducted primarily through virtual meeting platforms. Schedule FR and AFR virtual training classes on an ongoing basis. Assign required FR and AFR coursework on Modern Woodmen University. Track FR and AFR progress through all coursework and provide regular reports to applicable field managers. Maintain awareness and knowledge of current and future training methodologies to stay abreast of the latest developments. Assist with all home office field rep schools and administrative assistant schools, along with post-school follow-up meetings and evaluations. Assist in the development of new training programs and video content for Modern Woodmen University. Occasional travel may be required.
What we need:
Bachelor's degree in education, communications, or related field. 3 years of experience in facilitating classroom and/or web-based training in corporate, education or volunteer environment. Strong communication, writing and time management skills. Must be comfortable using Zoom and other virtual communication platforms. Ability to select and creatively use various training/instructional methods appropriate for the situation. Strong communication skills, especially public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to interact with all levels of staff in a professional manner. Excellent organization skills. Ability to manage deadlines and resources. Service oriented.
What we offer:
Pay:
The hourly pay for this position is $30.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
Work Arrangements:
This is a full-time hybrid hourly position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Hybrid positions work at least four days in the office each week. Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be expected to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to one year. Hybrid work arrangements are subject to change at any time based on business needs.
