Click here to see BRMi's Glassdoor reviews Responsibilities A Junior Instructional Designer assists in creating educational and training materials, collaborating with experts, and applying instructional design principles to enhance learning experiences. Core Responsibilities A Junior Instructional Designer primarily supports the development of instructional content and learning experiences.Key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing instructional materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, training manuals, and instructional videos Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and senior instructional designers to gather content, insights, and ensure accuracy Applying instructional design models and adult learning theories to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences Testing and revising materials based on feedback and learner evaluations to improve effectiveness. Staying updated on instructional design trends and tools, including e-learning authoring software and Learning Management Systems (LMS) Qualifications Minimum 1-5 years of experience. Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Human Performance Improvement, or a related field. 1+ year of instructional design experience. Proficient with Articulate Rise and Storyline Experience conducting needs analyses and developing performance-based learning solutions.Demonstrated experience designing and developing:
eLearning Virtual instructor-led training Job aids and performance support tools Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Experience partnering with SMEs and business stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
