Job Description

Prevention Specialist - Part time Job Description Purpose of the Position The Prevention Specialist will be responsible for supporting the implementation of all prevention education programs of the Child Advocacy Center. The Prevention Specialist will serve as a facilitator of all prevention education programs and will collect data necessary to evaluate the programs. Responsibilities A. Prevention Education Programming Promotes, schedules and facilitates prevention education programs. Coordinates presentations made by staff and volunteers. Collects and maintains statistical information of the prevention education programs. Acts as a liaison among all participants of the prevention education programs. Acts as a resource for the community regarding the prevention education programs. Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with computers and common software programs. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with a cross section of the public. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, work under pressure, manage deadlines, maintain accountability, and work independently. Must be responsible, dependable, well-organized, logical and have high integrity. Must be willing to complete DCS and law enforcement background checks.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
